I finally put the coating on my new wood panels. It was a new brand and was a littler thicker than the last stuff I used. I think it may have put it on too thin in an effort to make it go further. Plus, a bug flew onto one of the panels and got stuck in the coating - thankfully I got it out before it dried completely but it left a slight indent- so I'm thinking another coating might be in order. I've got time.

AND awhile ago on Poppytalk I saw this post and was inspired to try it myself. I thought these would be the perfect solution to an awkward wall space between my door and closet....to be honest it hasn't turned out as well as I hoped. I like the "god's eyes" on their own but somehow it looks a lot darker and spider-y on my wall. Maybe I put them too high...maybe I put too many up...not close together enough? too be continued.
